How Dr. Fliesser’s Practice is Different
Many retaining attorneys (and even opposing council) have commented on Dr. Fliesser’s meticiulous, clear evaluations and extremely even, persuasive testimony regarding his expert opinions.
Such performance is derived in part from superb forensic fellowship training, years of clinical practice, and experience in teaching and explaining medical concepts in the courtroom setting. But most importantly, providing testimony that is persuasive and difficult to successfully challenge comes from thorough review of available case materials, interview of collateral witnesses and examination and appropriate clinical testing of the evaluee.
If a written report or expert testimony is requested, the opinions offered are based on a very careful, thoughtful review of the above data.
Even if an opinion does not particularly support the retaining attorney’s position with a case, it invariably helps to inform the attorney of the strengths and/or weaknesses of their case from a medical perspective.
